Police seek suspect in Kona Home Depot theft

Police are requesting the public’s assistance identifying a suspect they say stole numerous items from the Home Depot store in Kailua-Kona.

According to police, the theft took place around 10:24 a.m. on April 18 when the unidentified suspect, who is pictured, entered the store and used a hand cart to take the allegedly stolen items from the store. He reportedly left in a silver four-door sedan.

The suspect is described as being in his late 20s or early 30s, with a light complexion, medium build and dark-colored short hair. He was last seen wearing a fluorescent green long-sleeve shirt with reflective stripes, dark jeans and black slippers.
